The Rumor: Matthew Broderick had an affair

Alright. Alright. So the rumor goes that MB had an affair while SJP was filming Sex and the City. So far the actor's rep states "no comment" and the supposed 25 year old red head he slept with has not been identified. Star magazine dropped this bomb and claims that MB pranced around NY this past winter.

Let's look at this logically though, assuming that this is even true:

1. They have been married 11 years.
2. They have a five year old.
3. They are both very down to earth and see to be very good friends and supporters of one another.
4. SJP HAS BEEN MAKING OUT WITH HOT MEN ON SCREEN FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS FOR BOTH SEX AND THE CITY AND THE NEW MOVIE.

Now, if SJP is off licking lips with Mr. Big and making out with Aiden and his big hippie belly in those sex scenes, then how do we know she didn't say "Matthew, go get yourself some while I'm gone! It's gonna be a long winter." Ya know? I'm just saying. Sometimes these things are necessary. When you are in a marriage where both people are artists and especially together for 11 years, it might just be one of those things that helps keep the marriage sane. Brent, did you hear that?!!

Oh, and for the record I love SJP even though there are a lot of haters out there right now about the 'mole' issue. Come on, I have a mole. Everybody has moles. Moles, moles, moles everywhere on my body. Now, do you hate me?
