Drew Barrymore and Justin Long Split

On one hand, does this really surprise us? On the other hand, sniff sniff. But hey, I'm just going to say it. I'm just going to say it. Ok? Ok, here it goes: she was too famous and too pretty for him. It was never going to work. He had just come into fame and is a down to earth 'i'm just the new kid' type of actor. Barrymore tries to act like she's not big. But no, no. Nuh uh. She can play the 'flower child indie scene' card all she wants but she's an A list celebrity on the cover of Vogue and he's still in the pubescent stage of Hollywood.

They were sweet, but she ate him alive and now it's over. And I hate to say it, but Barrymore has commitment issues. It's great that she's holding out for 'the one' but something tells me she shy's away after it loses the pizazz or maybe they see her true colors-needy. Don't get me wrong I love most of what comes out of her mouth because she cares about this universe. But at some point, the woman needs to let go of the search and realize it's all inside. I'm not dissing her, I'm kissing her. I would kiss Drew Barrymore, issues or no issues.

Ironically the two will be starring in the 2008 movie He's Just Not that Into You.
