Amy Whinehouse Performs Rehab with Wine in Hand

Sweet Jesus. Amy Whinehouse seems she couldn't give a pickle about her parents constant public statements claiming they are worried their daughter will die from drug and alcohol abuse. Not to mention how do we feel about such a large icon making a song like Rehab sexy? Granted it's a good song because it's sound is catchy, but the lyrics...we'll have girls downing pills just to get into rehab instead of girls getting pregnant for fun.

I've always thought Whinehouse looks unstable on stage when her chicken legs seem too frail to support that head of hair, but most recently I watched her and realized she was totally messed up. It was obvious. I just don't see the point. Except to testify how "fucked up" we all are due to social issues such as war, poverty, gay rights, etc...I mean I get the whole idea that rock and rollers are supposed to tell the masses what we really feel. But to glorify substance abuse? To say Rehab is not for me while drinking on stage, legs wobbling? Yikes. And I'm not even a conservative.
