Off the Cuff

As you may, or may not, know, my husband Brent and I produced a feature length mockumentary about a Chicago improv festival. We filmed it in summer 2007 and are coming upon completion here in February of 2009. It's been a wild and crazy ride. It was our first project like this and it was a lot of work and a lot of ups and downs. And a hell of a lot of fun. We had over 100 people audition for it. And 30 people were cast. All of them extremely funny and kind people that worked so hard to create characters that we will never forget. Our editor has worked with us sometimes at 24 hours at a time to get this at its best. And many others have stepped up and contributed their many talents. The movie is called Off the Cuff. The website is offthecuffmovie.com and there you can view trailers. While the first showing is a private event we are hoping to show it at a couple more theatres in the city and back in our hometown of Elkhart.
