John McCain Open Your Eyes. No Literally.
You keep squinting and it makes it hard for me to see into your soul. And I also think that you are diminishing your ability to see things clearly. For example, you and some other republicans have claimed that the mainstream media tends to slant against conservatives.
WHAT? That is so wrong. Do you live in a geriatric bubble?
I know you need an explanation for why Obama is ahead or why the media is focusing in on Sarah Palin's racist soundbites or her accusations about him being a terrorist by using his middle name. I know you know that American's are really smart. But the really dumb ones show up at your rallies because you talk to our audience like its a toddler special education class. I know you are afraid that you can't just speak to the people in your rally and that you have to address the smart Americans too. So you come up with a silly explanation like this so that us smart ones think you recognize bad behavior. Oh and I appreciate your attempt to distance yourself from conservatives that keep mentioning Barack's middle name by saying you are no way advocating this. But guess what, your running mate is doing it too.
As I watch McCain at a rally it starts to make sense to me. He's holding on for dear life. And he's getting really snippy and nasty about it. In a time of adversity a leader has to take his anger and harness it into understanding and find a common ground to stand upon. Or at the very least not practically eat his own words while his face turns redder than a tomato. On one hand he's got a lot against him with the way Bush has handled our country. On the other hand he's got to be able to clean up that shit. And I'm not sure he can handle his own dirty diapers.
