The Joans....WHY?

So The Joans is a band that dedicates its music and soul to Joan Crawford. The mission of The Joans is simple; give legendary Hollywood star, Joan Crawford, the rock and roll voice she deserves. The spirit of Joan Crawford is so overwhelmingly powerful it takes the bodies of one man and one woman to contain it.

They are coming to Chicago on July 26th.

WHY? Does anyone remember Mommy Dearest? Anyone? My GOD that movie scared the b-joans right out of me? Now why does anyone in their right mind think that woman deserves to be remembered? She was an evil devil woman who worshipped her own image. Don't you remember the beatings? The abuse? WHY JOAN WHY!?????? The swimming scene? When she tells her little baby that she'll never win against mommy dearest? This is the heart and soul this band wants to represent.

Ok, maybe this is worth checking out. Will there be slapping?
