The Evolving Snowman, a poem

The snow is covering us
Like a cleansing freeze
Freezing us in time
Wind pushing us
Forward, fast
Frankly I'm ready
For a new storm
Not the old snowman type
Of jolly days
I want a snowplane that will fly
Over this messy era
I would vote for a snowwoman
I would vote for a snowminority
I would shove the corncob pipe up the current snowman's....
Alas, it is peaceful when you listen
To the snowflakes falling
They bring reminders that
There is more to us than snowballs and snowfights
And building a snowman that melts under the burning sun
And sees through two eyes made of coal
