Ma Familla Crazilla. Seriouslia.
Well the weekend of carb overloading drunkness is over. We ate, played poker till wee hours of the morning, and probably scared my grandpa. But all in all it was a good time. We stopped at Brent's parents house on our way out of town for a lunch with family and learned that his parents sent an audition tape to the Amazing Race TV show! We watched their audition tape and everyone was rolling in tears. It is definitely something that we kids will be watching again over Christmas, I'm sure. Even though we laugh, we are impressed that they had the guts to do it.
We were back to Chicago last night. Maris missed us dearly. He ran laps back and forth the apartment until he finally pooped out. Brent and I chit chatted about the next couple of months. We would like to move and soon. It's time for us to save money so that we can produce more films. Can't do that in our fancy pad here. We talked about our movie and what the opening sequence should be. Brent had some really great ideas. We talked about music and which of our friends might be interested in composing music for the film. We realized that we have a lot of musician friends! Talking about the movie made us both very excited to be back to Chicago so that we can really move forward. Tonight we will meet with our editors.
Today's TO DO list includes logging the rest of our tapes, putting up Xmas tree, and baking cookies. So I better get started.
